Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage all engineering activity including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and project engineering work ensuring plant and equipment is maintained to prevent contamination to product and reduce the potential for breakdowns.

• To develop and implement clear and effective PPM's and schedules.

• Plan and coordinate project work against schedules and budgets.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Demonstrable knowledge in a managerial role within an engineering environment.

• experienced and qualified engineer, with mechanical and / or electrical bias.

• Experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement programs with a collaborative approach.

• Strong communication and people skills

Location: Dartford, KENT

Hours: Night shift

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key part within the FMCG company based in Dartford. They are a well-established business and are branded the number one giant within their market. As a growing business, they are now looking to expand their maintenance team to maintain and repair their machinery critical to meeting their production targets.

You will need to be able to or have an understanding of the following:

• Repair various manufacturing equipment used for the production of FMCG products including conveying and distribution systems

• Carry out PPM's and Reactive maintenance

• Attending to machinery breakdowns

• Fault finding equipment - electrical and mechanical machinery

• Knowledge of SCADA or similar systems and some PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley)

Location: CAMBRIDGESHIRE 

An exciting opening has arisen for a suitably qualified Engineering Supervisor to join the team at their state of the art Anaerobic Digestion plant . This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established and growing company.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start and end times to be agreed locally.

As an Engineering Supervisor your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

• Support the day-to-day maintenance of the site and to assist the Operations Manager.

• To provide supervision & assistance to the Engineers within the team.

• Organise and implement maintenance schedules as per manufacturer’s guidelines. 

• To carry out risk assessments of routine maintenance procedures and unplanned works.

• To ensure maintenance staff take full responsibility for their work environment.

• To liaise with external contractors and review RAMS prior to work commencing and ensure that all permit-to-work documents are completed to the required standard.

Requirements

• Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) or higher.

• Solid engineering background and good process knowledge (Ideally within Anaerobic Digestion or similar).

• Excellent H&S awareness/understanding.

• Previous experience of working within an Engineering Supervisory role.

• Good IT skills.

• Be able to motivate and manage a team.

• Excellent communication skills.

• To be able to prioritise work and be able to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.
