The successful applicant will be working as part of a team on a shift rotation system to maintain the process equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing process.
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for attending breakdowns within the processing plant in a timely manner to maintain a continuous flow of production. You will also be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance, keeping downtime to a minimum ensuring all machinery runs to health and safety requirements.

An exciting opening has arisen for a suitably qualified Engineering Supervisor to join the team at their state of the art Anaerobic Digestion plant . This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established and growing company.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start and end times to be agreed locally.
As an Engineering Supervisor your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:
• Support the day-to-day maintenance of the site and to assist the Operations Manager.
• To provide supervision & assistance to the Engineers within the team.
• Organise and implement maintenance schedules as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• To carry out risk assessments of routine maintenance procedures and unplanned works.
• To ensure maintenance staff take full responsibility for their work environment.
• To liaise with external contractors and review RAMS prior to work commencing and ensure that all permit-to-work documents are completed to the required standard.
Requirements
• Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) or higher.
• Solid engineering background and good process knowledge (Ideally within Anaerobic Digestion or similar).
• Excellent H&S awareness/understanding.
• Previous experience of working within an Engineering Supervisory role.
• Good IT skills.
• Be able to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• To be able to prioritise work and be able to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.

The ideal candidate will be a safety conscious individual with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
This is a full-time permanent position working 12-hours shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis (days and nights, including weekends).
As a Maintenance Shift Engineer your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:
• Risk assessing all jobs before work begins.
• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance
• Completion of reactive tasks as per defect list.
• Assisting with contractor and third-party asset services and general housekeeping.
• Be expected to adhere to all Site Health and Safety Regulations
• To install and maintain equipment ensuring minimum interruptions to production.
• To assist in any other duties and ad hoc projects as and when required.
• Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested by Management Team.
Requirements:
• Hold a recognised apprenticeship.
• Hold a minimum CGLI or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineering experience.
• Experienced in working with and applying isolations LOTO (Mechanical and Electrical).
• Dual Skilled mechanical/Electrical is desirable but not essential.
• Basic IT Skills.
• Have a flexible approach to working hours.
• Have an analytical approach to problem solving.
• Be able to communicate well and professionally at all levels.
• Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
